[glow=saddlebrown,8,300][shadow=green,right,1000]Talorelle Brostan[/glow][/shadow]
Name: Talorelle Brostan
Gender: Female
Race: Elf
Age: 127 (Though looks about 27)
Job: Animal Trainer/Breeder
Description: A young looking elf, she has beauty that is combined with fierceness everywhere you look on her. Her body is well toned from her warrioress days, and she keeps it that way. Her skin is pale, but the fair skin goes along nicely with her long, straight, blonde hair. Her face holds authority, though still is beautiful, yet just seems to be threatening people to try and harm her. While she can hold this face, when she smiles that face seems to disappear immediately, and the intimidating aura she has seems to evaporate.
She has a tall thin form, yet, just like the rest of her, if beautiful in everyway. Fitted by her cloth clothes that are colored with beige, brown, and green, she is a sight to behold. She has striking silvery-grey eyes that can catch anybody's attention, a pointed chin, and like any elf, long, pointed ears. She always has a choker necklace around her neck that is bound with brown cloth, with a crystal hanging off of it. She found that necklace when she was a little girl, and soon found it to have magical properties.
Her necklace can shrink or enlargen itself to fit the wearers neck. Also, when you would like to take it off, it will enlargen to fit over your head so no cutting is envolved. Then once it's put back on, it shrinks to become a choker once more. The stone seems to have some magical properties too, though Talorelle still knows not what they are. It has a weird symbol engraved on it though, and sometimes it'll warm up and warm the skin on her neck.
Personality: A usually kind elf, many are friends with her. However, sometimes her warrioress attitude will get the better of her and she simply won't be able to help it. With her warrioress attitude, she's on high alert, and every movement catches her eye. Most feel acutely uncomfortable around her when she gets like this, but her closer friends and her family has gotten over it and still stay with her when she's like that.
However, when she's not on high alert, she'll usually be smiling and all happy. She'll show a completely carefree attitude that all love. Of course, when she's like this any sign of danger puts her on high alert once again, and she's back to being a warrior. But, with her carefree attitude she got when she stopped being a warrior, she also got a love for the beasts that roamed Udonia.
She became an Animal Trainer/Breeder because of this. However, she's taken the job to new extremities. She likes to go out and catch wild animals, and breed them to sell. It makes a living, not that anyone would let her starve or live on the streets or anything. But, it lets her buy nice things, and pays for when she goes somewhere to try and fgure out what the crystal is s'pose to mean on her necklace. She has a curiousityb in that stone that some fear will never be tamed. Of course, she still has a few hundred years to figure out what that stone means if she's careful enough not to get herself killed before hand. That's hoping for a lot from this daredevil. At least she has common sense.
History: Born to Greshna Brostan on October 12, she never knew her father. Her mother says that he died fighting for the elves, and that that's where Talorelle gets her warrior spirit from. She had a brother that was four years older then her, Olen, but he remembers very little of their father as well. Olen did not inherit her father's warrior spirit either, so Talorelle could never share with him the feeling she had when she was little as she played with wooden swords.
When she was about 8, her mother took her and Olen to Tur'el Cove for a swim. Excited, she raced ahead of her mother and brother multiple times, always stopping on the path to wait for them. When she first reached the waterfall she was in awe, but, being the little girl with the small intinsion span, she had soon stripped down to her bathing suit and was running towards the shallows.
Upon wading about two feet into the clear water, she spotted something shining right at her feet. Picking it up, she found it was a necklace with an odd stone on it. She slipped it over her head, it being as large as it was, and pulled her hair through it quickly. Then she heard her mother and brother coming from the path. Turning her head towards her mother as she was saying how bad it was for her to get in with no one to watch, as the area was currently empty.
But her mother stopped mid-lecture as she spotted the necklace on talorelle's neck. "Where did you get that thing?" her mother had asked. Talorelle told her about seeing it in the water and slipping it over her head and everything. Her mother had looked at her funny and said, "Honey, you can't slip a choker necklace over your head, it has to be tied."
That was when Talorelle realized the necklace had tightened around her neck, and was now a choker necklace rather then a loose one. She grabbed at the necklace and started pulling it, hoping to rip it off. Instead, the necklace just grew. Finally, Talorelle could get it over her head and she did so, throwing it on the shore as she did.
With the necklace off she waded deeper into the water, going all the way in until the water touched her chin. After a few hours her mother called her and Olen out so they could start the long trekk home. Now, curious aboutb the necklace instead of scared of it, she picked it up form the shore where it layed. She slipped it back over her head, this time feeling weird as she felt it shrink on her neck.
Following after her mother and brother, the trek home seemed much shorter then getting there. But that was probably because she was so engrossed with her own thoughts she payed little attention to what was around her. When they got back to their home in Feeorin Village, her mother had yet to notice she'd taken the necklace home. Planning to keep it that way, Talorelle kept the necklace hidden for many years. Actually, many years should be said two decades.
At 19 she moved out from her mother, but still she kept the necklace hidden in the bottom of a jewelry box. She kept it there for 9 years, then took it out and put it on for the first time in 20 years. She felt it tightening around her neck, the stone cold against her skin. But she loved it, and kept it on no matter what she did. it was also when she started wearing this necklace that she became a warrior.
The day after she started wearing the necklace, she was invited to be apart of the elven army. She accepted immediately and gratefully, knowing that she was meant to be a warrior simply because it was in her blood. And she became a great warrior. One of the greatest. However, her time as a warrior was breif in elven years. After 40 years she had to retire from the army. Not because she wanted ot, but because of an injury she got in battle.
She broke her leg, and the healer said that she'd never be able to fight properly again. But that wasn't the only wound - her arm was also damaged greatly. They said that it'd never be able to hold a sword again. So, she retired from the army reluctantly, cursing her opponents numerous times for ruining her career. But, she decided she'd have to do something else. So, she started helping her brother train and breed animals.
She stayed with her brother for about 20 years, and then left when he got engaged. She thought it wrong to live with your brother and his fiance, so she left willingly. She said she'd come and help, but then her brother told her that she was good enough to run her own breeding/training place. She knew she'd learned a lot over her stay with him, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to do that. But her brother kept insisting that she had surpassed him in her 20 year stay.
Finally, she gave in and started training animals for elves. Soon, her small business grew bigger because of how good elves were saying she did. Her home in the Ruelle Forest was close to the city so tha no one would get hurt coming out to see her as well, but she knew her location was a good one when she decided it was time to start breeding animals. She closed her training house twice a week so she could go out and look for animals she'd be interested in domasticating.
Her brother thought that that was a crazy idea, trying to domasticate something wild, but Talorelle wouldn't hear it. She still wore her necklace, something that gave her bravery in any time, so she went out on those free days to hunt for a petential pets. She's found many things by now, after nearly 40 years of doing her job. She has been hurt quite a bit, sure, but she has to go out and find something dangerous to do or risk going insane.
Weapons/Powers: Hey, now we all know she's an animal trainer now and stuff, but her warrior spirit never wore off! Talorelle Brostan has dagger-like weapons in her shows, and always has a dagger up the sleeve of her left arm, unseen or known of. She also has that strange connection with animals and nature that many elves have as well.
Other: Nothing to add.
