Marietta walked through the busy streets, the vendors jumping out at her like bees attracted to honey. She'd give them a smile and wave them away giving them the "no" single.
Ebony trotted at her heels licking them every so often as she looked back to stare down the pup. As her baskets hit against her thigh it gave her the warm feeling of being a healer.
It felt good to help people, and that's what she did best. She wore sandlas today, something told her to look more presentable, and not walk around bare foot on this breezy fall morning. Her wavy blonde hair went airborne and started to fly astray above her head. Giving a smile she was happy it was finally fall, that mean't no more sun burns to heal for people, that mean't no more sweating in the garden while picking herbs for antidotes, that mean't a whole new world.
Her dress airily tickled her legs and her hazel eyes scanned the busy cobblestone street for something interesting to take her mind off her wandering thoughts. For once in a life time, she wished she had someone to speak to... she felt worried about something, yet confident on the other hand.
It was an odd way to feel when you didn't know why.

He flew through the trees landing in an open area outside of the kingdom draw bridge. His wings folded hastily into his back.
Kross had just found some prey minutes ago and fed on its weak little soul. Of coarse, it wasn't as good as a humans but if he kept killing them off now, someone would be sure to figure out that there was some sort of demon lurking among the kingdom. His eyes were a faint, pale red and fading slowly. If only they could fade faster. He tried to think up an excuse if someone spotted his exotic eyes... like allergies...or something.
Kross shrugged it off and covered his self with his loose, velvet, midnight cloak. He blinked a few times, thinking that it would help the after glow hidden deep beneath his eyes.
He passed the frozen soliders at the gate and whistled a familiar tune. The town was much more crowded than he had anticipated. He was no longer worried about becoming an easily noticeable target to any demon hunters anymore.
Kross stole an apple without being spotted and took a large bite. Food was not a common necessity to him but the thrill of stealing...was yet another feeling that gave Kross a taste of risk in his much too boring life. Kross grinned and smiled at all the lovely elvaan ladies. This was his vacation spot and a time to relax from chewing on sickening rabbit souls. Kross slipped his hand underneath the hat of a nearby manican and placed it confidently upon his head. A few woman noticed but only stared, concerned of the black silhouette walking care free down the streets of Feeorin.
"G'mornin ladies." He tipped his hat politely and grinned smugly.
As he made his way down the streets, he crossed the path of a lovely young maiden and her dog.
"G'mornin madam." Kross tipped his hat ever so slightly and smirked a bit. Only half the woman he greeted caught on to his fake politeness.

Marietta was humming to herself until she saw a black silouhetted figure walk in front of her, catching her attention.
"Hello." she said politely with a smile. Hugging hert baskets closer unliking the looks of the man in the cloak, she kept her smile alas.
He was being polite, and he was truly being polite to her, but it was easy for her to see his emotions go against the stability in his eyes. Yet grinning she felt Ebony lick her legs, urging her not to be falsley rude and perhaps ask for more questions.
"Beautiful day it is, my name's Marietta." she said. She'd much rather have walked away, unliking the company of people, but today was more of an exception. Also, she didn't want to be rude, and the figure didn't look like he would let her slip away so easily without labeling her rude. So instead she sat politely waiting for an answer to slip the mysterious figures lips. Although he was polite and had a troublesome glare, he reminded her slightly of Fieron.
[Sorry it's short. I have TONS of homework and mom's urgin me to get off.}
