Name: Kycoo Eurydice
Gender: Male
Race: Angel (Elemental angel of Metal)
Age: Unknown
Job: Still searching
Description: Kycoo used to be pale skinned with a fair complexion, almost to the point where he looked permanently ill. But after his ‘metal-morphasis’, his skin became totally concealed. He stands in at roughly 5’9 and weighs a lot more than he appears to. His facial features and hair are hidden behind a slightly dulled chrome full face helmet that goes from the top of his head down to his neck. From his neck downwards is a large chrome plate in the shape of Kycoo’s body that ends at his hips and his elbows. From here, the rest of his arms are armoured behind large gauntlets, still the same colour as the rest of his armour. From his hips, a pair of metal greaves connects to the chestplate down to his knees where they’re joined by a pair of heavy boots. The most interesting thing about his armour, however, is the network of purple lines that spread out in straight paths from where his heart should be and carve through his metal body like veins, and the way that pulses of purple energy frequently flow through them. The only place the lines don’t reach is his pair of large metal wings which span about 11ft from tip to tip, each feather coated in the same metal as the rest of him and honed to a sharp edge. One could be forgiven for thinking that he was nothing more than a walking suit of armour, because he pretty much is: but more about that later.
Personality: In most circumstances, Kycoo is calm and has a passive demeanour, giving him a somewhat enigmatic appearance while letting others know without speaking to or fighting him that he’s dangerous. Whether this attracts or repels attention is entirely up to those who encounter him. Those who speak to him will find that he is quite cynical and headstrong, but carries a few traits of his ‘old self’ through being slightly overconfident and having faith in his abilities. Despite his confidence and will, he is slightly insecure of his own actions and morals, and is not the kind who would brush off insults easily.
History: It all started with an angel known a Bain. Bain had led a normal life, as far as angel’s lives were normal. He had a wife who he loved very much, and plans to have their first child soon. But there was one thing that interested him greatly: power. And when he learned about the Elementals, e became intrigued about tales and desired to become one. Although the only way this would be possible was if he could gather the strength and kill an existing one, right? Right. So for years, Bain trained in hand to hand combat. He never learned how to wield a weapon. He fought exclusively with his fists and his feet and as a result became strong, once accidentally killing a human who tried to mug him for his wallet and necklace with a blistering roundhouse kick that shattered the man’s skull to pieces. And on that fateful night, Bain decided that he was strong enough to fulfil his goal, and set out to find and kill an elemental.
Eventually, after a long while searching, Bain encountered the Elemental of Metal in a hidden shrine he stumbled upon during his flights. Full of glee, he challenged the quite old looking angel to a duel. When the elemental turned and drew his sword, Bain laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. “So the almighty Elemental of Metal has to rely on a weapon? How pathetic...I need no more than my body to dethrone you!” And with that, the battle started. However, after a good three minutes of fighting, Bain learned how horrific the powers of the Elementals were and was floored, the Elemental’s blade held to his throat...he was defeated. At first, the angel was intent on killing the defeated there and then, but he reflected upon himself and their battle: Despite being unarmed, Bain fought with a steel fist and an iron will, and impressed the Elemental. So, he offered him a choice: He could die, or he could carry out his orders as a disciple. Ashamed by his defeat at first, Bain chose death, but the Elemental merely shook his head, much like Bain did before the fight. ”Shame...it would be so unfortunate to kill one of such potential, such raw combat talent...” With his kind words, the Elemental of Metal twisted the angel’s arm, and Bain agreed to serve the Elemental. For about a month, Bain ran simple errands for him: Gathering ores, watching over the mines outside the shrine for intruders, simple tasks...as he spent more and more time with him, the tasks got harder and the training more intense...exterminating monsters that gathered outside the shrine, going out and fetching exotic new metals from rare and elusive ore veins in dangerous regions...all the while, Bain asked what he would get out of this other than the opportunity to redeem himself from his defeat, and all the while the Elemental merely said “It will all be worth your while in due course.” This carried on for another few months, and Kycoo constantly battled his conscience: Was the Elemental really going to make all this work worth his while? Or was he just making him suffer as punishment for his loss? He had grown a lot stronger...perhaps he could overthrow the man now? Perhaps he could fulfil what he came here to do? To kill the Elemental and claim his power?
...No. That was not the way, he decided. He would hold out and discover what the reward at the end of all this was. And at that moment, he would find out. The Elemental summoned him to the shrine and asked him a question that rattled him. “Your wife...her baby is due today, is it not?” How did he know? That was just...impossible! But Bain just nodded his head in amazement. The Elemental nodded his head sagely, then explained. “There is no way you can become an Elemental...however, I can do SOMETHING for you...I want you to kill me” Before he could say anything else, he added “I’m old, and have had my fun. And you will see what I mean by you not being an Elemental once I am dead. Now take my sword and end me...” Bain was slightly taken aback, but gathered up the courage to take his old master’s blade from it’s sheath and plunge it into his head...
Traumatised and slightly distraught, he raced back to his home to his beloved wife to see that she was cradling a tiny bundle of skin and bone in her arms...the baby had been delivered. Both a little miracle from God and a gift from the former Elemental of Metal.
Kycoo, the new Elemental angel of Metal, was born.
Bain and his wife were ecstatic about their newborn baby boy. He too trained in close quarters combat with using only his fists and feet as his weapons, his power rivalling his father’s at the age of twelve...and then it became apparent that he was the Elemental of Metal when one night, when he was asleep, liquid metal seeped through the pores in his skin and hardened, coating his skin, his bones, his wings, every part of him in a metal shell. When he woke up, his mother nearly died from the shock, but his father Bain just smiled broadly, knowing full well of what had happened.
After this drastic transformation, Kycoo was schooled separately, like the Elementals were, learning about how to manipulate metal and mastery over his element. He also learned about his biological weapon, which he named ‘Nemesis’. Recently, he just finished his schooling and has been discharged into the world.
Weapons/powers: Kycoo can manipulate metal. He can attract and repel metal objects through magnetism and mould metal on substances into different shapes, such as spikes. He can thicken certain parts of his body with metal to heighten his defences as well as galvanise himself to increase his lifespan.
His weapon, Nemesis, is a prime example of his fighting style and element. The weapon consists of his gauntlets and his boots. On the outside of his feet are a pair of large circular saws, and his gauntlets have large singular spikes that pop out from out of his forearms when he clenches his fists that extend about a foot beyond them. By using the liquid metal in his blood, he can cause the blades on his boots to spin or the blades on his arms to pop out, making his unarmed combat even more deadly. By doing this, his limbs are propelled by a high level of gauss, causing his blows to be propelled with devastating force. He also carries countless little needles in his steel feathers on his wings which he can use to rain death upon foes with a wild beat of the wings.
Other: After being metalmorphed, Kycoo has a morbid fear of deep water. He no longer needs to breathe, but falling in water deeper than his head height would mean spending an eternity trapped in a lake until he rusted, which would take a very, very long time.
