Name: Klaus Chevalier
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Age: Looks around seventeen in Human years, but his age as a Vampire is uncertain.
Job: None.
Description: Klaus has dark, auburn hair styled in casual disarray. His bangs cast slightly over his eyes, as the layer strand of hair come down brushing both side of his face, and lips. His eyes are a deep, midnight blue; popularly described as sapphire, is if they were shimmering when hit by stay light. His usual attire consists of a dark color sweater with a button up shirt underneath. The white, pin-striped collar comes up and over the V-neck of the sweater, and cuffs of the shirt come out farther than the sleeves of the sweater, covering his pale hands partly. He wears a pair of slightly tight dark shaded jeans with a gray tint, with his shoes usually black and casual, with a slightly formal touch to them.
Personality: Klaus is very self-centered and arrogant. He sees himself stronger than any acquaintence he faces. He thinks everyone else is weak… and lets them know it, too. The boy isn’t afraid to throw around insults and mock people. Quite frankly, he enjoys it very much. Klaus likes to play games with others minds, and get into their head. He does this because he likes to see their reaction, which, in almost every case, makes them go insane with doubt and insecurity. He seems quite confident over all. But, if you anger him, the boy will loose his temper very easily. He is, overall, mostly calm all of the time. He doesn't show soft feelings toward anyone, even claiming that he has none. He views feelings such as those as useless and unneeded... which he learned this himself from his troubled past.
Klaus’ personality changes depending on who he’s with. With strangers, Claus is overall very calm and collected, letting off small smirk every time a passing girl stops to stare at him, as if they’re in a trance. Around humans he seems to be sly and a bit mischevious.
Being around ones of his kind makes the boy vampire more tense. His calm expression tends to cloud over, and his velvet tone dulls, as if he is always uninterested in what they have to say. This might be because of a slight self-priority complex, or that he simply… just doesn’t care.
History: Klaus was the last to be taken in by Tristan and Emmeline, with in previously a hundred years earlier. He had been found to point of a savage from his great length of starvation, crouched in the back of a deserted alleyway in the actual slums of Vassago. He had no idea who he was, or why he was there. All he knew… was that he was hungry, trembling severely. Tristan and Emmeline weren’t exactly sure if he was newly bitten, or if something not of their awareness went down there. When they tried to approach him, Klaus lashed out at them. Because of the point of his confusion, his fierce punches and kicks where simply blocked by Tristan. Once he had the boy pinned against wall, Emmeline brought him a rat off the street at first.
Klaus snarled at her and said he wouldn’t take it, disgusted as she explained to him he had to drink its blood in order to survive. Tristan told the boy calmly that it was either that, or death.
Still, he refused. Tristan then said to him that if he didn’t take Emmeline’s offer, he would have to kill him because he would be a threat to their treaty. The savage boy hesitated for a moment as his body was being pressed against the alley wall. He gritted his teeth in anger, but then told the couple that he agreed.
When they escorted Klaus back to their onto the palace grounds, they were shocked that they had found Amadeus standing at their doorsteps, dressed in long, dark robes.
By this time, Klaus had been fed, but he was still confused. And, because of this, he was angered.
Amadeus gave the three a calm, friendly smile, despite Klaus’ evident glare of hatred. He could tell this Vampire was respected, but he didn’t care. He could have cared less.
Tristan and Emmeline gave him a respectful bow, and explained to him as to why they were bringing this boy back with them.
While Tristan was explaining, Amadeus was nodding time to time, always looking to Klaus; smiling softly, taking in the boy’s ice cold glare.
Amamdeus then commented on how he was glad that the couple had found him first and not his own subordinates. Before he left, he added quickly on how the boy will be much use to Empire… and then he vanished from where he stood, as if never there.
The couple then lead Klaus into there mansion, which is located on the palace grounds. Lorelei had a liking to him instantly, while Deiter… was quickly indifferent.
For decades, the unique family lived together, and hunt in pairs. Klaus usually hunts along, but as motherly as Emmeline is, she sometimes insists on brothering bond between Deiter him. They both are annoyed with each other at first, but when the chase is on and their hunger rises, they could care less.
Weapons/Powers: Klaus uses himself as a weapon. Besides his normal Vampire attributes, Klaus is a very skilled at martial arts.
And, then there is a certain, unique power that he likes to keep mostly to himself. It is said that each vampire has one power that they can only possess, and none other. Other vampires can never take it from them. In Klaus’ case, he can peer into any creature’s mind, and hear what they’re currently thinking. He can also communicate with them—awake, or slumbering-- and hear his voice. Though, of most certainty, there is a drawback. Klaus cannot obtain past memories from their mind. He can though, only if they are currently reminiscing on a certain time and place. With his power he can’t see into the future, as much people would presume if he had told them. He cannot tell with his ability of their death, or of future luck. Also, Klaus does not have to be looking presently at a person to hear their thoughts. He can imagine their face, no matter the distance, and use his power. He can’t communicate with the deceased; or of those yet to be born. But, if is was currently staring at them, and their eyes met, Klaus can search deep into their emotions, and pull on a few strings to either make them feel at ease, or any other emotion he can arouse. He also has the talent to imitate anyone’s voice doubtlessly, and uses it to either is own amusement, or on spontaneous acts.
