Chink...chink...chink...
Throughout the seemingly totally natural path leading to the Tur'el cove, a constant metallic beating could be heard heading down the path concealed in the wood. Was it a machine of some sorts? Maybe a forest creature that had sort of metal hooves? Whatever it was, it seemed out of place in such a quiet, tranquil place...
Chink...chink...chink...
The creature causing the noise was about as out of place as the noice his footsteps caused, the metallic creature making his way through the trees, occasionally walking straight into a tree stump, allowing the momentum of his heavy metal feet to cleave through them. Where was this walking metal creature going? Even he didn't know that, he'd only just finished his education, and then he'd been allowed into this wonderous new place. Whether he liked it or not he couldn't judge; he'd only just learned that this place existed. So far, his knowledge was confined strictly to how to manipulate his element and his purpose as an elemental. So it was almost like being born again into a new world.
Chink...chink........
The sound stopped as Kycoo came to a halt in front of a pristine lake, the rushing of the small waterfall crashing downwards with a mighty roar. "Water..." Kycoo murmured, his hidden eyes scanning up and down the wall of liquid down to the lake. Perhaps it was time to take a different route?

Crystal flew along the path. She had heard that this path lead to a peaceful pool with a small waterfull. And being the elemental of water and all she was interested in seeing it. She couldn't wait to see it. Though she liked taking in the scenery around her as well.
She had been so taken in she hadn't paid attention to the "Chink" sounds that had been in front of her. That is until she flew right into the person that was makeing them. "Ow!" she said as she landed on the ground. "I should've been paying more attention......." Though she seemed to forget all this when she realized she was at the waterfall. "Its so pretty....." she said as she looked at it.

...no. Water wasn't good. That was one thing the teachers had drummed into his chrome skull multiple times: Water was a weakness. Metal rusts when exposed to water, and he would rust to nothing if he ended up in water. He would just turn around and be on his w...
...impact.
Kycoo didn't move at all when the woman crashed in to him and ended up on the floor. The only bodily change in his stance was how his wings suddenly fanned out to full span as a reflex action, the light seeming to bounce off the edges of his razor feathers. He knew that something had hit him, but he stayed still, turning his head only when he heard a female voice from behind...she seemed interested in the water. Well, that was quite normal. Why wouldn't one be interested in something so deadly? He spoke, his voice quite low with a slight metallic echo to it, his words more to himself rather than to this girl. "It's pretty...for something so deadly." He noticed that she was still on the floor. Another thing that he learned in his life studies: manners. His eyes locked on to her, he paused for a second, then almost tentatively offered his gauntlet down to her...he was unaware that she was the Elemental of Water. If he knew this, he would have probably fled by now...

Crystal was quite taken in by the waterfall. Though she snapped out of it when the person she had crashed into spoke. She looked over to see the person was metallic. "Well, to you its deadly I take it" she replied. The person then offered his hand to help her up and she took it.
She dusted herself off. "Sorry for bumping into you like that....wasn't paying attention," She then noticed his wings. "Oh wow, another angel.....Its a been awhile since I last saw one." She'd been travelling for quite awhile now and hadn't stopped at home ever since she left. And she hadn't seen any at the places she visted. "My name is Crystal. What's yours?" she said with a smile.

So she was an angel like him. He could tell by her light blue wings and caring demeanour, even before she spoke. He knew that there were only two types of angels: normal angels and the Elementals. He just assumed that she was a normal angel. There were very, very few Elementals, so it was easiest to assume she was just an angel, right?
Why was she so surprised about seeing another angel? Was it uncommon to run into another angel? He didn't know. But she had piqued his interest for the moment. "I've been told it's deadly...I don't know about if it's deadly to anyone else..." He tilted his head to the side, catching her smile as she introduced herself. She wouldn't have seen it, but behind his heavy metal headgear he attempted to mimic her smile...being mostly made of metal he had difficulties with emotions and ways of showing them. "My name's Kycoo. It's a pleasure to meet you." His head level turned back to the waterfall and the lake before he spoke again. "What brought you here, Crystal?" A simple question. Sometimes, simple questions pose complicated answers, but...

"Nice to meet you too, Kycoo," Crystal said as he introduced himself. He interested her. She had never seen another angel that was completely metallic like this one. She guessed that he might be an elemental like her.
She thought about what he said. "Well, not many people think of water as deadly. Though not many people would rust by being in water. Anyway, I'm here because I heard about it and wanted to see it." She smiled and floated closer to the water. "It's as simple as that,"

Quil flew from the branches with her chewed up arm and her bruised legs and torso. She sailed above a clear vision of the ocean in an enclosed, foresty area. It was Tur'el cove. If she had made it this far, it would mean that the werewolves would be long gone by now. There would be no way they could find her in such an isolated area and besides, they would have to cross the most dangerous parts of the woods to get anywhere near this ocean.
Quil landed on all fours with a broken wrist and broken mind. She folded her steel wings and became furious, scared, and upset at the same time. They must have thought she was human. Werewolves are fond of humans as their meals but in trying to protect her master, of coarse the pack would have become dangerously upset.
Her panting slowed and her dirty, sweaty skin became exposed as she glanced around to find no one and nothing was nearby. She slipped off her robes and began to slowly wade into the oceans crystal clear waters. She needed to wash herself from her blood and fatigue.

Hmmm...so this girl actually went out of her way to see this dangerous crashing wall of water? Sounded a little deluded if you went by his solid logic. However, Kycoo didn't run solely on solid logic. Perhaps she had ties with the water? Either that, or the sheer beauty of it attracted her. Either way, anyone who could take time out of their day just to see a waterfall, she was obviously a carefree soul. Much like himself, considering his only objective was to 'defend the glory of the Metal and whichever nation he chose to live in'. And that was all. Other than that, he had all the time in the world. Sounds like you live a carefree existance, Cryst..."
He stopped abruptly, and for a brief moment, two small areas on his face where his eyes should have been pulsed a light purple, the same purple as the maze of lines carved through his body. He felt the impact of Quil hitting the ground through the soft vibrations of the floor. He couldn't see her, but he knew she was around. For the second he realised, his whole body tensed and his wings bristled like a hedgehog's spines, his head moving around from one side to the other. "It would seem...we're not alone here..." He wasn't one for sensing frustration and anger, nor was he one to smell her wounds. But he knew someone else was here due to the sudden impact, much like when Crystal bumped into him. He was slightly on edge, but that certainly didn't show on the outside...

"I guess I do...." Crystal said in response. Though she noticed he had stopped in the middle of his sentence. "She looked over and asked, "What's wrong?" She soon found out when he said that they were not alone. "Hmm, we aren't? I didn't hear anything........"
She began to look around. She floated above the water. "Maybe whoever it is is in the water?" she suggested as she looked around. She couldn't see anybody in the water though. She skimmed across the water's surface looking around. She then turned over to kycoo and asked, "Any idea where this person could be?"

In the water? No, surely not. Because if they entered the water, their physical state would deteriorate and begin to corrode until...wait, that only counted for him, didn't it? "I'd check if I could, but..." He looked down at his gauntlet, tapping it with the other one and getting a metallic chime from it. "Water's...dangerous..." As he said that, he felt the waters beating against the lake edges in a way they hadn't before when Quil slipped into the lake, instantly noticing the shift.
With that, his head snapped over to a certain area a fair distance from where they were as he spotted the woman slipping into the waters. He raised his arm and pointed clearly in the direction of the movement. "Right over there...see?" It wasn't very clear, but there was definately someone there. He also found something interesting: there were traces of metal nearby. Could that be whoever was on the other side of the lake? Either way, he would wait...whether Crystal did the same or not was a different scenario...

"Ok then, I'll go ahead and check it out," Crystal told him. She began to fly in the direction Kycoo had pointed. She noticed it was a gril after getting closer. She reached the girl no problem.
"Hi there," she said to the girl. She was soon distracted by her meal wings though, "Oh, I like your wings....." she said as she looked at them. "Another angel what are the odds......" it was then she noticed the girls wounds and there seemed to be some blood in the water, "Are you ok? Do you need any help?" she asked.

Quil was startled. She turned and covered her chest. She was relieved to find it was another girl who had found her wading into the clear waters.
"I-I um..." She stuttered. She couldn't cover up the blood that spilled from her wounds into the subtle waves. "i guess I can't hide the fact that I am wounded." She smiled and shyly looked away. "I didn't think that anyone would be around here but I guess I should have expected an angel." The girl looked friendly enough so she felt a bit more comfortable as she continued her conversation.
The girl commented on her wings. "Oh? You like them? Well, they aren't real. The wings are covered with feathers. They don't come off apparently so it hides the fact that their steel. It glimmers in the sun sometimes so maybe you saw the glint when you spotted me?" She asked. Her last question was, "Are you alone?" She searched the area. She was embarrassed enough from the mess she had made.

"Ah, I see....." Crystal said as the girl explained about her wings. "I was a little confused when I saw them up close and they didn't look all that metallic." The girl then asked if she was alone. "Well.....I was." she then pointed over towards Kycoo. "But I bumped into him."
She then realized she hadn't introduced herself. "Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Crystal." She smiled and held out one of her hands, "And you are?"

By the time Crystal had flew off to investigate, Kycoo's wings were no longer bristled, although they still looked quite rigid from the distance that the two female angels were. He couldn't hear what they were saying, but he picked up a few words. Wings. Angel. Help. Wounded. Him. Ah, Crystal pointed over in his direction. His head cocked to the side. Should he fly over and introduce himself as well? But...to do that would require him to fly over the water, and as capable as he was at the art of flight, if he fell, or someone or something clipped his wing, he'd end up in the water. And if he ended up in the water and the two women didn't have the strength to pull him out, it was curtains. He took a tentative step towards water's edge. He took another. And another. Now he was at the edge of the lake.
His eyes (although they couldn't be seen) were locked on to Crystal, waiting either for her to call him over or for them to go over to him. Or for the pair of women to fly away like the carefree souls they were and leave him there on his own. Although inside he assumed them not to be that rude...

He sensed them. It wasn't difficult, since there was so many of them gathered in one place.... but, it still surprised him on the amount of them. He rarely came across one of his kind while on the grounds, none the less, this many. There was three of them; two much more stronger thn the other. Elementals like himself, then? Tch. He had far more important things to get on with, but this gathering intrigued him.
When he passed over the waterfall, they came into view. Three, he was correct. Mitsuru desended downinto the cove, landing a about a yard away from the group. They seemed like... an unusual trio. Narrowing him dark eyes while he folded in his wings, Mitsuru took a step forward, his arms content at his sides. His eyes scanned each for a moment. The weaker one of the two females was injured, while the other male seemed to be questioning his actions as he stood at the edge of the lake.
He walked over in their direction, stopping a few feet behind Kycoo to his right. Folding his arms over his chest, the boy's eyes dimmed to an annoyed gaze.
"What are you all doing?" the boy muttered lowly, a tone of irritation evident in his voice.
(( Thought I'd join. ^^ ))
