Koji walked past the dozens of venders on the street, each one was beckoning for him to buy something off of them. He had no intention of buying something though, he very rarely bought something for two reasons. The first was that he hadn't been an any sort of town for the past year or so, and the second reason is because he was a pickpocket. Why buy something when you can steal it? That was his motto, although he only stole off people who seemed to be at a higher amount of wealth than others, never off the poor or his friends. He chuckled at the idea, an idealistic thief.
He had lasted quite a long time the last time he'd been involved in this, and it had only ended because one of his friends had tipped off the town's guards as to where their base of operations was located. It was hard to belief that had only been about a year ago - he was only sixteen after all, and already involved in these sorts of practices. Koji reached up and adjusted the headband that he wore, making sure it covered his ears. He didn't need the discrimination being half elf brought, not right now... All he wanted right now is to make a couple friends and make a fresh start, he was planning something big after - - - Koji's thoughts stopped in their tracks as he bumped into someone in the crowd as he had avoided bumping into someone else.

Scarlet walked passed the people of the village. It was the lighter side of town away from the dark elves who lived somewhat peacefully on the other side. This was her first time in an elvaan village but she noticed a large mixture of races such as humans. Humans and elvaan folk have always been close to one another and fought side by side in battles century's ago. But Demons didn't mix well with the races in this type of village.
Scarlet was a succubus. Blending in as a human, she didn't feel human. Her intentions were something she didn't want to live with. The urges she felt when she was near a man no matter what shape or size or age. This was her way of living and her only way to survive.
She lifted her cloak's hood above her head, her raven black hair spilling from beneath it. Her face was covered in shadows for she was ashamed of who she was. She needed to leave.
Scarlet noticed a man tripping and limping behind her. He was a drunk man about in his twenty's. Woman swooned over him as he called for her.
I'm done with you, quit following me. She thought to herself.
She picked up her walking speed and turned the corner only bumping into a common elf on the street.

Koji only looked surprised for a second, he quickly checked that his headband was still on - and then quickly regained his posture. "Sorry 'bout that.." He said quickly, not wanting anyone to be angry at him for the moment. Koji took in his surroundings, making sure that the bump hadn't been a deliberate act to stun him for a second. After he was certain that it hadn't been on purpose, he looked for the reason why this person had been walking so quickly. After a quick glance around the corner he spotted the trouble, the drunk man was still walking towards where they both stood. He turned towards scarlet and raised a eyebrow, reaching into his pocket and drawing the dagger that he kept there, he continued the questioning look. "He's giving you trouble?" Koji asked.
He didn't even wait for an answer, it was time to make his first move in the city. he walked out around the corner to stand in front of the drunk man. "You should stay indoors when your that intoxicated you know, something bad could happen if you accidentally give someone trouble.." Koji Reprimanded. A bit of a grin crossed his face as he spoke, he had missed situations like this. He held the dagger reversed in his hand, so it was pointed backwards. He took another glance backwards towards scarlet. "Don't worry, wont injure him too much." He thought to himself. He began to wonder how much money the man currently had on him... He ignored the various shouts from the drunk man.

Scarlet backed away slowly watching the newcomer approach the stumbling man. She held her hands close to her chest, out of breath.
What was going on? She didn't want any strangers trying to be the hero to save her. She dealt with these situations every night and was pretty used to it all.
Scarlet turned to leave as the boys back was turned.
